The magic happens at the top and bottom of the ring.

Do:

• Make a soft fist

• Place the flat part of your fingers over the terminal

• Hold steady until you hear the beep

Don’t:

• Place your hand flat on the terminal

• Try to fist bump the reader

• Use the back of your hand

• Jazz hand it

• Rush it—patience is power
