RingPay didn’t start as a business idea. It started with a question: How do we make payments easier for people who struggle with cards and cash?

At Money Carer, we manage finances for people who can’t always do it themselves—due to age, illness, or disability. We’ve spent years working alongside families, care homes, and legal teams. We’ve seen the challenges first-hand. Losing cards. Forgotten PINs. Anxiety at checkouts. Constant dependency on others for simple things like paying for lunch or buying a bus ticket.

We weren’t satisfied with just managing around the problem. We wanted to solve it.

RingPay was our answer.

We started with rings and bracelets that could make secure, contactless payments. No PIN. No screen. No stress. Each device connected to a prepaid account through our Monika platform, so carers could manage funds, but the individual could still take part in everyday life—on their own terms.

And it worked. People became more independent. Carers had fewer incidents to manage. Families felt more at ease.

Soon, demand spread beyond our original network. People with autism. Stroke survivors. Older adults who wanted a simpler way to pay. Even those with no impairments at all, just tired of carrying wallets. That’s when we realised: the solution we built out of care has a place in the wider world.

RingPay has always been about purpose. About inclusion. About giving people the tools they need to be part of life, not left on the sidelines. We didn’t just build something new—we filled a gap no one else was addressing.

And we’re not stopping here.
