What are the RingPay Payment Rings?

It’s designed for everyday convenience — from coffee shops to travel, gyms to trips our of the country.

Step 1: Download the RingPay App

To activate your contactless payment ring, start by downloading the RingPay app on iOS or Android.

The RingPay app allows you to:

  • Pair your RingPay Payment Ring

  • Check if your bank is supported directly

  • Connect your payment card securely

If your bank is supported directly, you can link it within the RingPay app.

If your bank is not yet supported directly, you can connect via Curve.

Step 2: Pair Your NFC Payment Ring

Once installed, open the RingPay app and select “My Wearable.”

Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your NFC payment ring to your account.

Tip: If pairing does not work immediately, remove your phone case. Some cases can interfere with NFC during setup.

Once paired, your wearable payment ring is ready to be linked to your payment method.

Step 3: Connect via Curve (If Required)

If your bank is not supported directly, you will need to use the free Curve app to link your debit or credit card.

Curve securely connects your existing bank card to your RingPay Payment Ring.

Here’s how:

  1. Download the Curve app

  1. Create your account (identity verification may be required)

  1. Add your debit or credit card

  1. Connect your Curve card within the RingPay app

To locate your Curve card details:

Open Curve → tap Launchpad → go to Account.

Curve allows you to switch between different bank cards, which can be useful when travelling. All payments are processed using tokenisation, meaning your actual card number is never shared during a transaction. Instead, a secure encrypted token is used.

Step 4: Tap to Pay with Your Ring

Once connected, your RingPay Payment Ring is ready to use.

To make a payment:

  • Wear your ring

  • Make a fist

  • Tap the side of the ring against the payment terminal

The payment processes instantly.

No phone required.

No charging cable.

No app open at checkout.

No internet connection needed.

Just secure, encrypted contactless payment.

Compared to traditional bank cards or mobile wallets, a RingPay Payment Ring offers:

  • Greater convenience

  • Increased durability

  • Enhanced security through tokenisation

  • True hands-free tap-to-pay functionality
